Greetings from Principal Dr. Jeanine Arundel

Principal Jeanine ArundelHello Pleasantdale Community!

I am truly honored to serve the Pleasantdale community to support the district’s mission: "We foster an empowered and engaged community of passionate, resilient lifelong learners.”.  I come to you with three decades of educational experience as classroom teacher, a dean and gifted coordinator and an assistant principal, previously. I pursued my undergraduate studies at Marquette University, a graduate degree in Educational Leadership from Governors State University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis.   I am excited to bring my knowledge and skills as an educational leader to the Pleasantdale Community so we can work together to support all of our students.

I view education as a life-long journey and I also believe that all students can learn if they are in a safe and supportive environment.  Students need to feel safe physically, academically, emotionally in order to achieve so we must foster strong relationships within our school community.  Also, please know that all school-related decisions will be based on what is best for our students.

I encourage you to become as involved as possible in your child’s learning and I look forward to meeting you soon!  Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, concerts, or ideas you may have. My email is jarundel@d107.org and my phone number is 708-246-7609.

Greetings from Assistant Principal Mrs. Maura Raleigh

Assistant Principal Maura Raleigh

Hello Pleasantdale Community! This is my first year here and as a proud alumna of Lyons Township, I am honored to return to serve the community that shaped me.

Before coming to PMS, I was both a classroom teacher and an instructional coach. I pursued my undergraduate studies at Illinois State University and received graduate degrees in Curriculum Studies and Educational Leadership from DePaul University. Building strong relationships with students, staff, and families is at the core of my approach, and I am dedicated to fostering a culture of collaboration and achievement within our school community.

It brings me great joy to be working with this community and I look forward to continued partnership and success together.

Please contact me with any questions, concerns or suggestions. My email is mraleigh@d107.org and my phone number is 708-246-7373.
