Students at Pleasantdale Elementary School are learning skills in music class which are part of the music continuum. It is through our mission statement that we dedicate ourselves to making a difference in people’s lives through music.

Pleasantdale offers General Music classes for grades kindergarten through fourth grade. Fourth graders have the opportunity to join the Pleasantdale Elementary School Band or Orchestra. There is a volunteer first and second grade chorus and third and fourth grade chorus.

In addition to Pleasantdale’s K-4 curriculum, the music department offers adult classes such as adult social dancing, adult general music classes, percussion ensembles and this year adults will have the opportunity to join the adult bell choir. Some of these class are performing ensembles.
