The Pleasantdale PTA Executive Committee would like to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you and welcome you to the 2009-2010 school year. Pleasantdale PTA is a private nonprofit organization that is voluntarily comprised of parents and teachers who work together to enrich opportunities for children and youth. A local unit of Illinois PTA District 28 and National PTA, membership is open to anyone who is concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children and youth. We get involved by providing service to the schools and students of this district. Through the active participation and commitment of our members, we are able to work with administrators, teachers, and staff to offer numerous programs and positively impact the learning environment. We encourage you to become a member of Pleasantdale PTA.
We are looking forward to the school year and working with you to better serve the needs of our schools and students. By working together to achieve our goals, we can contribute toward a successful school year for all of our children and are in support of the mission and objectives of the National PTA.
If you ever have a question regarding any PTA matter, please feel free to talk to any member of the Executive Committee and we will be happy to speak with you personally.

PTA Wants You!
The Pleasantdale PTA is always in need of parent volunteers for the many activities that benefit your children. Volunteering does not pay anything but the rewards are very good. Let you children see you involved in their school(s). It makes them feel special. Please review the list and consider volunteering. If you have any questions regarding any of these committees, contact the PTA at pta@d107.org or contact one of the executive committee members.
