Pleasantdale Middle School seventh grade students will have the opportunity to learn more about the beauty of the United States of America. The U.S. Department of Interior (DOI) is the nation’s principal conservation agency. The mission of the DOI is to “protect and provide access to our nation’s cultural heritage and honor our trust responsibilities to Indian Tribes and our commitments to communities.”

To learn more about the United States, you will be looking at National Parks and National Monuments; there are over 300! In this project, you will select either one park or one monument. You will then research your location and create a travel brochure that explains your choice and lists its important details.
