This is my 14th year of teaching 5th grade and I have been at Pleasantdale for 9 years. I live in Downers Grove with my husband and my five-year old son.  I grew up in Aurora and went to Illinois State University, along with Aurora University for my graduate studies.  I enjoy gardening, home improvement projects, exercising and eating out (if that can be a hobby, then I am real good at it!).

Teaching is a passion of mine and I love my career.  I learn something new each day, and teaching Science and Social Studies opens up so many opportunities to share real world events with my students.
