Principal's Corner...

Welcome back  to the 2009/2010 School Year!

On our opening day of school ( Monday, August 24th ), the entire staff was waiting outside to greet students as they arrived.  It is always heartwarming to see the hugs and high-fives as students and teachers greet each and share summer experiences.  The spirit of celebration continued as we gathered together as a school in the North gym to do a spirited kick-off for the new school year.

 
Speaking for our staff of forty expert and enthusiastic middle school educators, I can say we are all aware of how fortunate we are to be a part of the Pleasantdale family.  You couldn’t find nicer kids or more supportive parents and community than we have here.  Our goal for this year is simple:   more kids will learn more this year than last.   We are dedicated to continual self-improvement.  Last year was amazing but this year will be better still.

If you are lucky enough to be a Pleasantdale Middle School student or parent…welcome back.   We’re anxious to see you again.  If you are new or a visitor, please drop by.  We’d be proud and happy to show you what an outstanding middle school looks like.
