Beginning in November, students try to earn Blue (individual) or Gold (classroom/group) Eagle tickets.  To learn more about this positive incentive, click on EAGLE TICKETS.

Here are some examples of students earning tickets:

Blaise - Being a good role model for younger students.

Christopher - Excellent work and staying focused in Writing Workshop.

Nithin - Stopped to help a friend tie her shoe.

Paige - Tries her best every single day.

Vincent - Staying in his seat until the bus come to a complete stop.

Madison - Being kind to a friend.

Abdul - Cleaned up without being asked.

Joshua and Kevin - Greeting the kindergarteners every morning and encouraging them to have a great day.

Ten students are randomly chosen each month to decorate the main bulletin board with their own personal posters.  Parents are encouaged to check these out when in the building.

One student will be chosen to star in a "Read" poster on display in the hallway next to the library.  It may look something like this:

There will also be a incentive for all classrooms earning Golden Eagle tickets.  One classroom will be randomly chosen to keep the prized Crystal Eagle on display in their classroom for the entire month.  Congratulations to Miss Macek's 3rd grade class for winning this honor.  The class earned a Golden Ticket by lining up perfectly before school and coming in ready to learn.  They will keep the Crystal Eagle during the month of December.

Congratulations to all summer readers!  This is the awesome lunch bag they received.
