4D is the Place to "Bee"!!

Welcome to DuVall's Digest
Our Class Mission
We, Mrs. DuVall's awesome 4th grade class, are here to learn, try our hardest, have fun and be good people. In order to accomplish this mission, we will work hard everyday and follow the Eagle Way. By working together we will rock the 4th grade and make this the best year ever!!
Who is this Mrs. DuVall?
Hi, my name is Amy DuVall. I have been teaching for sixteen years and a teacher at Pleasantdale Elementary School since 2002. I graduated from Northern Illinois University, and then continued my education and received a Masters of Arts Degree from St. Xavier University in the area of Teaching and Leadership. I have had the opportunity to work with both the enrichment program as well as my current role as a fourth grade teacher for the past 5 years. My passion for teaching is seen daily with the activities that I bring to the class as well as the way the material is presented. I look forward to getting to know all of my students and helping to foster their passions.
As many of you may already know, I am married and have three awesome kids. My oldest is 5,the middle one is 3, and the newest member of the family is 5 months. As a family we love to spend time outside playing football, running around with our black lab Izzy, and making homemade popcorn on Friday nights. I am sure that many of you will hear stories of my family from your own kids, as well as them sharing fun family stories with me.
