 My name is Stephanie Macek and I have been teaching for five years.  3 of those years have been spent at Pleasantdale Elementary where I currently teach third grade.  I have also taught first grade in both Oswego, IL and Lisle, IL.  I received my BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL and I am currently working towards my masters degree in Reading from St. Xavier University.  I am very excited to be working with students in hopes of helping them achieve all of their goals as students, and to encourage them to become life long learners.
