
District 107 Summer Programs
Summer Academy
Pleasantdale School District 107 is offering a math and reading basic skills program to all students residing within the boundaries of District 107. All residents entering 1st through 8th grades in 2011-12 attending public, private, or parochial schools are welcome.
The Summer Academy Math and Reading classes are designed to re-teach and reinforce existing grade level skills and concepts for students to attain mastery. Courses are created and taught by our talented District 107 staff. Held in a comfortable air-conditioned building, Pleasantdale Summer Academy provides a relaxed yet enriching educational experience for interested children and families.
Location: Pleasantdale Middle School
Dates: June 7-10 (Tu-F), June 13-16 (M-Th), June 20-23 (M-Th), August 8-11 (M-Th)
Tuition: $100 per course
Transportation provided by Parent/Guardian

Camp Invention
Camp Invention will returned to Pleasantdale during the summer of 2011.
This summer, invest in the skills that will help your child achieve his or her full potential throughout the school year. Nonprofit Invent Now’s premier program, Camp Invention, is a weeklong adventure in science creativity. Led by qualified educators, this exciting program is being hosted by Pleasantdale Elementary this summer for children entering grades one through six. The Camp Invention program is a unique opportunity for your child to experience hands-on learning through FUN activities that will stay with them for years to come.

Worlds of Wisdom
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the Worlds of Wisdom and Wonder program by The Center for Gifted, a Northern Illinois University partner, during the summer of 2011. Information about the Burr Ridge program is available here.
